as you would have seen from the previous page. It will grow to have The foals real donkey parents are named Fi Fi and Nuray. What name can you think of ? What you will win. The winner will be chosen by a group of people from the Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital and the Condon family. They will be given the opportunity to spend some time at the Hospital with the new donkey baby and meet all our fabulous staff.

long hair and will be huge compared to other donkeys. In addition it was created
by being fertilised in its real mother and then, because she had some feet
problems
and we didn't want her to carry the weight of a pregnancy, we put the
embryo into a surrogate. Another interesting point was that the surrogate mother
was a horse not a donkey. Although donkeys and horses are related, it is quite
distant (they don't even have the same number of chromosomes). So it was quite a
feat to get the mare to carry and accept a foal so different from what she would
have been expecting.
