Caroline Duddy B.V.M.S., M.R.C.V.S. M.A.C.V.Sc. Caroline graduated from Glasgow University, Scotland in 1999 and shortly after graduation headed to Australia to a job in the Hunter Valley. In August 2000, by a curious twist of fate, she started an internship at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital. After surviving the season at GVEH, she then returned to Ireland for the breeding season, and then like a boomerang came back to GVEH for 2 further seasons, working in the reproduction barn with Angus. Having decided to stay in Australia, she moved to the Hunter Valley to a full time job with Scone Vet Hospital and stayed there for several years, whilst also shuttling to Ireland and England for the breeding seasons. A full time job on a large stud in England prompted her return home for 2 years, but an offer "too good to refuse" saw her return to GVEH in 2007. Caroline is now happily married and settled in north east Victoria, and spends her time on the road servicing many of the thoroughbred breeders in the area. Caroline is currently on maternity leave caring for her new twin boys and other family members. |
