Nurses:
Lisa Blake:
Lisa came to the surgery after she had already spent two years working part time on the stables. It wasn't a difficult decision to employ her. You can always tell when Lisa is here at the hospital by the sight of her canary yellow little ute. Lisa has a bright and bubbly personality and is always helpful around the hospital and
is always looking for the next job to be done which is what we love to see. She lives in Shepparton and has her own horses.
Currently she is doing the veterinary nursing course through Wangaratta TAFE.
Tina King: Tina was well known to us as she worked at Morningside for almost years before she started work with us. She is not local as she hails from Werribee but obviously loves the north east as she has already had a job up here at
Chateau Tahbilk winery. In addition she lives in Nagambie with her partner, which is a about 40 minutes from the hospital. She has completed massage course for horses and currently is enrolled the Wangaratta TAFE nursing course.
Emma Klug: Emma is a relative local. She lives in Euroa and has a long working
history in the area. She is not afraid of hard work and is happiest when busy.
She takes her roles seriously and already has adopted the digital radiography
system as part of her management skills. She is one of the hardest workers we have seen. I thought we were paying her enough but she still does jobs on
weekends like foal watch. Just can't seem to stop her working. More recently she has traded in her horses (and boyfriend) and has taken up the sport of mountain/off road motorbikes.
Kathryn Smith is the latest addition to the nursing team. A little older than the others she brings a form of maturity and experience to the job. She has been in the Euroa area for a while now,
having worked at the famous Larneuk Stud under the tutelage of Neville Murdoch.
