Speakers

Each year we are fortunate to have a host of experienced and informative speakers.
You can read about them below.

Angela Avery
Angela has made a career of helping us how to make better use of our natural pasture advantages here in Australia. Her work and publications on pasture improvement are second to none.
Peter J Huntington
Peter is the resident guru on how to achieve your ideal horse with supplement feeds . He has worked as a horse specialist for the Victorian Government and as advisor for Rhone Poulenc. About 6 years ago he was head-hunted by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), a firm specialising in research into horse nutrition. He now directs their Australian division.
Sarah  Jalim
Sarah is Welsh and has a style all of her own. She is clever and talented and loves surgery and lameness. She can do what ever she puts her mind to. She can be great to work with, knowledgeable and loves to play.
Angus is the driving force behind our conferences which is strange given his increased weight and loss of hair. He  trace his interests with horse reproduction back to a stallion which was a gift from Sir Chester Manifold in 1975. He has published books, bulletins, refereed publications and his enthusiastic presentations are always in demand both here and overseas.
Simon Robinson
Came to us via Alabar farms in Echuca. He has just completed his veterinary degree whilst managing Alabar farm (not a bad effort). Alabar if the biggest horse farm in the southern hemisphere and maybe the biggest Standardbred farm in the world. Simon has great skills in reproduction and now has a interest in equine veterinary medicine.
James R Vasey
Jim is one of the senior partners in our practice. He has surgery as a main interest. Jim is one of only a handful of surgeons to have passed into the 'Surgeons Hall of Fame' by examination (Fellowship of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in the Equine Surgery chapter). Jim brings a style to the conference that could only have been achieved by a long and fruitful career in veterinary medicine.
